Dale Frederick

Dale E. Frederick graduated from Pueblo High School in 1964 and the University of Arizona in 1969. While in high school Dale played football, basketball and excelled in track. He was named El Con Arizona Athlete of the Year in 1964 and Arizona State Champion in 1963-64. At the University of Arizona, he was a member of the football Sun Bowl Team (1968) and WAC Indoor & Outdoor Track Champion and Runner-Up NCAA teams.

Dale participated as a member of the AAU and Army Teams (European and Asian 1968-69); the Pan Pacific Games; and ran for the Southern California Striders. Dale’s coaching experience includes track coach at Catalina High School (1972-75), Assistant Track Coach at the U of A (1967-78), and Arizona TAC Chairman for Men’s Track & Field (1984-88). He has refereed meets for PAC-10 Track Championships and was Co-Meet Director for National Age Group Championships in Tucson.
