Dan Reynolds

In addition to his educational duties, Dan Reynolds has found the time to become one of the top track and field official in the United States. He has worked the Olympic Games (1984 in Los Angeles, and 1996 in Atlanta), U.S. Olympic Trials, Pan-American Games, numerous USATF championships, and NCAA meets.
He has been involved in the planning, directing, staging, and officiating at hundreds of track & field, cross-country meets, and road races in Southern Arizona since 1979. And these events included all ages – elementary school, middle school, high school, collegiate, Pac-10, NCAA, open and Senior Olympics.
Dan has officiated at more than 70 collegiate conference and national/international championship events. In 1988, he was given the National Athletic Officials Committee Outstanding Service Award, and in 2003, he was presented with the USA Track and Field Outstanding Running Event Official award. In 2007, he was honored as the National Official of the Year by USA Track and Field, and in 2009, the Arizona Interscholastic Association honored him with the High School Official of the Year Award.
In the last decade Dan has helped the Salvation Army and Gospel Rescue Mission serve Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.
