Dr. Pat Anderson
Inducted Class of 2001
A baseball letterman from Palo Verde High School (1962-1966) and the University of Arizona (1966-1970), Dr. Anderson has coached and managed baseball teams from Little League and Pony League, to the Tucson Colts (USA Baseball). His Little League team brought home a City Championship in 1991 (3rd Place State), the same year he was named All Star Manager. The Colts were named Runners-up in the 1998 National Championships.
His contributions to youth sports include: 1991 Founder of District 5 Little League Fall Ball; President of the Tucson Pony Baseball (1993 to present); 1996 Founder of Tucson Pony Fall Ball baseball program; and in 1997, he re-introduced Colt League Baseball; 1998 founded Tucson Coaches Fall Baseball program; and in 1999, Founder of the Southern Arizona Baseball Association and Co-Founder of the Tucson Coaches Baseball League.
Dr. Anderson graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School (1970-1974) and is practicing dentist in Tucson.
